The Stillness I Bow To

In your matted hair

rests the hush of centuries,

a calm the world has forgotten

how to hold.

No crowns, no silks, no shining pride —

just ash on skin,

a crescent moon,

and the quiet courage of simplicity.

You wear the universe

without showing it off.

You carry destruction and creation

with the same gentle steadiness.

In your silence,

I find my loud thoughts resting.

In your austerity,

my endless wanting learns to loosen.

You do not seek applause,

yet devotion finds its way to you.

You do not ask for praise,

yet hearts bow without instruction.

O Shiva,

you teach me that worth

needs no decoration,

that depth needs no display,

that truth needs no validation.

In loving you,

I learn to be still,

to be simple,

to be enough —

without needing the world

to agree.

Proof That Past Lives Were Kind

When my thoughts tumble out

in messy, unfiltered lines,

you don’t flinch —

you simply listen,

like every word belongs.

You hold space

for my storms and silences,

and when I’m too tired to speak,

your hugs say everything

I cannot.

There’s something adorably gentle

about the way you show up —

always ready,

always warm,

always here.

I can’t help but believe

that somewhere, in another lifetime,

I must have done something right —

something kind,

something pure —

to be gifted a bestie

as wonderful as you.

If souls earn blessings,

then you are surely mine.

 If this is karma,

may it always find its way

back to you —

a thousandfold.

Madhukanteshwara

 Under Shiva’s Moon at Madhukanteshwara

In the sacred land of Sirsi,
time did not move—it listened.
Forests stood in meditation,
and the air carried prayers older than memory.
At the heart of it all stood Madhukanteshwara Temple,
silent yet powerful, ancient yet alive.
Within its sacred walls,
countless Shiva Lingams rested,
each one a universe,
each one a reminder that Shiva is both one and many,
form and formless,
present everywhere.
As we walked barefoot through devotion,
the mind bowed before the soul did.
Friends became family in that sacred stillness—
no roles, no masks, only hearts open in surrender.
And then—
the moon rose above the temple,
calm, luminous, watchful.
Like Chandra adorning Shiva’s matted locks,

it felt as though Mahadev Himself
had paused the night to bless us.
The silver light touched the temple stones,
the Lingams, our folded hands—
turning the moment into eternity.
In that moonlit silence,
prayers needed no words.
The restless mind dissolved,
leaving behind only peace.
Shiva was in the chant of bells,
in the glow of the moon,
in the bond between us,
in the stillness that healed.
Sirsi gifted us more than memories—
it gave us a truth to carry home:
When hearts gather in devotion,
when time forgets to rush,
when the moon watches over faith—
Shiva is not just worshipped,
He is felt.

Dissolving into the Cosmos*

 *

The primal urge to shed the weights of identity, to vanish into the vast expanse of existence. To leave behind the confines of societal expectations, the suffocating grip of human constructs, and the incessant chatter of the mind. The yearning to become invisible, to blend seamlessly into the fabric of nature, is a siren's call that beckons the soul.

No house, no address, no labels. Just the raw, unfiltered essence of being. A speck of dust suspended in the grand ballet of the universe, dancing to the rhythm of the wind, the songs of the birds, and the whispers of the trees.

In this boundless expanse, the notions of self and other dissolve. The distinctions between individual and universe blur. The ego's strife, the heart's ache, and the mind's turmoil – all melt into the tranquil sea of existence.

Here, in this realm of pure being, there is no separation. You are the tree, the rock, the river, and the sky. You are the cosmos, unfolding in all its majesty and mystery.

The conundrum of identity, the puzzle of purpose, and the quest for meaning – all fade into the background noise. For in the depths of nature, you discover that you are not a fragment of the universe; you are the universe, experiencing itself.

In this profound simplicity, there is freedom. The freedom to be, to exist, to become one with the all. The urge to escape, to hide, to disappear – it is not an escape, but a return. A return to the primordial source, to the web of the cosmos, where the boundaries of self dissolve, and the infinite beckons.

Beyond the roles

"Beyond the roles I play, who am I? A question that echoes through the corridors of my soul. I'm a woman, mother, sister, wife daughter, friend, and teacher – each title a thread in the intricate tapestry of my life.

But when the labels fade, and the expectations subside, what remains? Is it the quiet whisper of my heart, the spark within, or the depths of my own consciousness?

Am I the sum of my experiences, the memories I've gathered, or the lessons I've learned? Or am I the space between the moments, the silence between the words, the stillness beneath the chaos?

Perhaps I am the universe's unique expression, a celestial melody sung in a particular rhythm and tone. Maybe I am the canvas, the painter, and the artwork – creator, creation, and the creative process entwined.

I am the river that flows, ever-changing, yet remaining the same. I am the tree that stands, rooted in tradition, yet swaying with the winds of change.

Beyond the roles, I am the essence – pure, untainted, and untouched. I am the spark that ignites, the flame that flickers, and the warmth that spreads.

Who am I? I am the mystery, the question, and the answer. I am the journey, the destination, and the path unfolding. I am enough, just as I am – a being of wonder, a soul of depth, a universe of possibilities."

Nandini Mithun ✍️

Your Scar

"Your scars are a testament to your strength, your resilience, and your courage. Every crack, every fracture, every bruise is a reminder that you've faced your battles and survived.

You don't have to be okay. You don't have to be strong all the time. It's okay to break, to crumble, to feel the weight of the world.

But here's the thing: you are not your struggles. You are not your scars. You are the universe's masterpiece, crafted with love, beauty, and purpose.

Your worth isn't defined by your struggles; it's defined by your strength to keep going. Your beauty isn't diminished by your scars; it's enhanced by the stories they tell.

So, let's raise our voices, our hands, and our hearts to celebrate YOU – the warrior, the survivor, the thriver. You are loved, you are valued, and you are enough."

Nandini Mithun ✍️

The Power of Vulnerability*

 *

"In the tender spaces where our hearts are exposed, we discover the true depths of our souls. Vulnerability is not weakness; it's the courageous act of embracing our humanity, of feeling deeply, and of loving without condition.

When we dare to be vulnerable, we open ourselves to the possibility of hurt, but we also open ourselves to the beauty of connection, to the depth of empathy, and to the richness of relationships.

In vulnerability, we find the strength to be ourselves, to share our stories, and to walk through the darkness with hope. It's a sacred space where love, compassion, and understanding reside.

Let your vulnerability be a bridge to deeper connections, a catalyst for healing, and a testament to the strength of your spirit."

Echoes of Existence"*

 *"

"In the whispers of the wind, we find echoes of our existence. A gentle breeze stirs the leaves of our soul, awakening memories of love, loss, and longing. The stars above, like diamonds in the velvet expanse, twinkle with secrets of the universe, reminding us of the mysteries that lie beyond our grasp.

Reality, a canvas of perceptions, is painted with the vibrant hues of our experiences. Relationships, the brushstrokes that shape our lives, add depth, texture, and meaning to our existence. Consciousness, the light that illuminates our path, guides us through the labyrinth of life, revealing hidden truths and unfolding mysteries.

In this grand symphony of existence, we are both the musician and the melody, the dancer and the dance. May we harmonize with the rhythms of the universe, and may our existence be a beautiful reflection of the beauty that surrounds us."

Nandini Mithun ✍️

Layers of Reality"*

 *"

"Reality is a multifaceted gem, refracting light in countless directions. Each layer of our existence adds depth, complexity, and nuance to our understanding. The surface level, where appearances deceive, gives way to the underlying currents of emotions, thoughts, and experiences.

Perceptions shape our reality, like a lens filtering the world. Yet, perceptions are fragile, influenced by our individual perspectives, biases, and conditioning. The complexity of life lies in navigating these layers, embracing the contradictions, and finding meaning in the chaos.

Consciousness, the mysterious spark within, illuminates our journey. It whispers secrets, stirs intuition, and awakens awareness. As we peel back the layers, we discover the interconnectedness of all things, the oneness that binds us.

In this labyrinth of reality, we search for truth, for answers, and for connection. May we approach life with curiosity, empathy, and an open heart, embracing the complexity, and finding beauty in the layers."

Nandini Mithun ✍️

Mind

Are you trying to change your way of thinking ?

Before you change your thinking, you have to change what goes into your mind.

Most people try to fix their thoughts directly.
They argue with themselves.
They force positive thinking.
They blame themselves for “overthinking.”

But thoughts don’t arise in isolation.
They are responses to inputs.
Your mind is not broken.
It is responding exactly to what you repeatedly feed it.

If your mind is constantly exposed to:
criticism
comparison
negativity
fear-based news
chaotic conversations
endless scrolling
environments that keep you on edge
then anxious, pessimistic, self-critical thinking is not a flaw. It is a predictable outcome.

You can’t pour toxic input into the mind
and expect peaceful output.

This is why willpower alone rarely changes thinking.

You don’t think your way into a better life.
You input your way into a better mind.

Change the conversations you listen to.
Change the content you consume.
Change the people whose voices echo inside your head.
Change the environments that keep your nervous system tense.
Your thoughts will follow.

Mental health is not just about insight.
It is about exposure too.

What you repeatedly hear becomes familiar.
What feels familiar becomes believable.
What becomes believable shapes your behavior.

This doesn’t mean avoiding reality or difficulty.

It means choosing nutritive input over mental junk food.

Just like the body, the mind reflects its diet.

If your thoughts feel heavy, harsh, or hopeless, ask a gentler question:
What has my mind been feeding on lately?

Because before you demand better thinking from yourself,
make sure you are giving your mind something better to work with.

Change the input.
The output will follow.

Nandini Mithun ✍️

Fear

Whatever you fear, happens, not because the universe is against you, but because fear shapes your focus, your energy, and your behaviour.

Fear is not just an emotion. It is a lens. And whatever you look at through that lens becomes larger, closer, and more real than it actually is.

When you fear being abandoned, you act clingy, hyper-vigilant, insecure and those behaviours slowly push people away.

When you fear failure, you hesitate, overthink, delay and those delays create the very failure you were worried about.

When you fear being judged, you shrink, hide, silence your voice and people end up overlooking you, just as you feared.

Fear is a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Not because destiny is cruel, but because fear changes how you show up in the world, and the world responds to the version of you that fear creates.

Fear makes you:
defensive instead of confident,
reactive instead of calm,
doubtful instead of decisive,
needy instead of secure,
withdrawn instead of expressive,
controlling instead of trusting,
desperate instead of patient.

And each of these states attracts exactly what you don’t want.

Life mirrors your internal state.
When your mind is tense, your decisions become distorted.
When your heart is anxious, your relationships become unstable.
When your thoughts are negative, your outcomes follow the same pattern.

What you fear, you feed.
What you feed, grows.

The moment you stop feeding fear, the pattern breaks.

The moment you step into trust, life responds differently.
The moment you choose courage over panic, you change the energy you bring to every situation.

Awareness is the antidote.
Confidence is the cure.
Action is the escape.

Because fear only has power over you as long as you obey it.

When you stop giving fear the steering wheel, your life stops circling around your worst possibilities and starts moving toward your best ones.

Nandini Mithun ✍️

Dangerous

The most dangerous form of blindness is believing that your perspective is the only 'right' reality.

We often assume that if we are right, the other person must automatically be wrong.

But life is not black and white.

People see the world through different histories, wounds, beliefs, and experiences.

What feels obvious to you may be invisible to someone else.

What feels true to them may not exist in your world at all.

Wisdom begins when we recognise that multiple truths can coexist.

Your perspective is
a reality,
not 'the' reality.

Understanding this softens arguments,

As i wander

"As I wander through life's labyrinth, I search for the echoes of my soul. Who am I? A melody of moments, a canvas of memories, a flame that flickers with purpose. In the silence, I hear whispers of my heart, guiding me toward authenticity. With each step inward, I shed the masks that hide my truth, embracing the beauty of my essence. I am a work of art, ever-unfolding, ever-evolving. In this journey of self-discovery, I find fragments of my spirit, and slowly, the puzzle of my soul takes shape."

Nandini Mithun ✍️

Moments

"Sometimes, it's the quiet moments that bring the loudest truths. Inner realization dawns when we listen to our hearts, confront our fears, and embrace our vulnerabilities. It's a journey of self-discovery, growth, and acceptance. As we peel away the layers, we uncover our true selves, and that's where the real magic happens."

Yoga

"Yoga is a sacred journey that awakens the soul, harmonizes the mind, and energizes the body. Through ancient wisdom and modern innovation, yoga teaches us to breathe through life's turbulence, to bend with flexibility, and to stand tall with inner strength. As we move through poses, we weave together threads of self-awareness, compassion, and transformation, revealing the radiant truth of our being. In this dance of body and spirit, we discover the innovative art of living - one that is authentic, resilient, and deeply connected to the world around us."

Often

We often focus on the beauty of the sunset,

We don’t often talk about the depths of the night it sinks into right after.
We often focus on the happy things,
We don’t often talk about the unpleasantries.
We often portray the best of ourselves,
We don’t often talk of the demons we fight against on a daily basis.

We will fall;
We will rise.
We will be sad;
We will be happy.
We will fail;
We will succeed.
Like the sunset paired with the dark clouds,
That’s what life is all about.

Nandini Mithun ✍️

Karma

Karma is the silent force that weaves the fabric of our existence. Every thought, word, and action sends ripples into the universe, creating patterns that manifest as circumstances in our lives. We often believe that we make things happen, but in reality, we are merely responding to the karmic impressions we have accumulated over lifetimes. The law of karma is precise and impartial; it does not operate based on personal wishes but rather on the balance of our deeds. Our past actions set the stage for our present, and our present actions shape our future, yet the ultimate outcome is always in the hands of the divine.

When we understand that our role in our own life is minor, it brings a deep sense of surrender. This surrender is not about passivity or inaction but about aligning ourselves with the flow of the universe rather than resisting it. When we act with ego, we create unnecessary suffering, believing that we alone must carry the burden of our fate. But when we surrender to the wisdom of the universe, we realise that we are mere instruments through which life is expressing itself. This realisation liberates us from anxiety and attachment to results. We perform our duties, but we do not claim ownership of the outcomes. We strive, but we do not control. We act, but we do not force.

The universal consciousness, the divine intelligence that governs all existence, is the true orchestrator of our destiny. Just as a river does not decide its course but flows where the land guides it, our lives move along the currents of our karma under the guidance of this supreme consciousness. This does not mean that we are powerless; rather, it means that our power lies in the purity of our intent and the sincerity of our actions. When we act selflessly, without attachment, and in alignment with dharma -the cosmic law — we create harmony. But when we act with selfish desires, we create further entanglements.

Karna's wife

When I finished reading 'Karna's Wife: The Outcast's Queen' by Kavita Kane, and I was still trying to process the emotions that were swirling inside me. This book is a rollercoaster ride of love, loss, and self-discovery that will leave you lost.

Uruvi's story is a testament to the strength and resilience of women in the face of adversity. Her relationship with Karna is raw, emotional, and authentic, and Kane's portrayal of their bond is both poignant and powerful.

What I loved most about this book is its ability to challenge our assumptions about history. Kane's  raises important questions about identity and morality.

if you're looking for a book that will touch your heart, challenge your mind, and leave you feeling inspired, then 'Karna's Wife: The Outcast's Queen' is the perfect read for you."

Nandini Mithun ✍️

As humans

As humans we all fail and make mistakes. That is ok. So what is it that sets us a part from others? It’s the ability to grow and transform ourselves into a better version, reflect on the past but focus on the present.

The future is yours. It is whatever you want it to be. Set your dreams and goals high, but don’t forget to reflect, learn, move on, and take the necessary actions you need to achieve in the present. There are two of you, the reflection in the past and the reflection in the present starring back at you in the mirror. Which reflection do you want to focus on and what version of yourself do you want to see and be in the future.

Nandini Mithun ✍️

Absorb

Everyday, we are  absorbing information, forming opinions, holding onto judgments, and reacting to  situations.

This ongoing mental activity creates layers of conditioning that separate us from ourselves.. Over time, we become identified with these layers, mistaking them for our true selves.

To uncover the eternal self that lies beyond them, we must become empty.
When we empty ourselves of preconceived notions, expectations, and the ego’s constant striving, we create the space for a deeper intelligence to flow through us. This intelligence is not bound by the limitations of the mind but is connected to the universal consciousness that permeates all of existence.

Letting Go

 Letting go

One of the hardest lessons in life is not learning how to hold on.

It is learning when to let go.

We cling not because holding feels good, but because letting go feels like death to the part of us that once survived by holding tightly.

Guilt, anger, love, loss, betrayal; none of these stay because we enjoy them. They stay because they once meant something. They were proof that we cared, tried, hoped, or belonged.

Letting go is not an act of forgetting. It is an act of acceptance.

Acceptance that what happened cannot be undone.
Acceptance that some chapters end without closure.
Acceptance that change will hurt, whether you resist it or not.

This is why change feels so exhausting.
You are fighting on two fronts.

One part of you wants relief, peace, movement.

Another part wants familiarity, identity, and the illusion of control.

So you fight to hang on
and you fight to let go.

We rarely talk about how unfair this internal war feels.

You may know logically that something is over ; a relationship, a version of yourself, a dream, a phase of life.

Yet emotionally, your nervous system hasn’t caught up. The body still reacts. The mind still revisits. The heart still negotiates.

That doesn’t make you weak. It makes you human.

Letting go doesn’t happen in one brave moment. It happens in small, repeated surrenders.

Each time you choose not to replay the same memory.
Each time you stop explaining your pain to people who won’t understand.
Each time you allow grief without turning it into self-punishment.
Each time you say, “This hurts, but I don’t need to bleed forever.”

What we call “holding on” is often fear dressed up as loyalty.

What we call “letting go” is often courage we don’t yet trust.

You are not betraying your past by moving forward.
You are honouring it by refusing to stay trapped inside it.

Some things don’t need to be carried for life to be meaningful.
Some wounds don’t need to define your identity.

Letting go doesn’t mean you stop caring.
It means you stop suffering on purpose.

And that may be the bravest thing you ever do.

Your Safe place

 Your Safe Place, Always —

When the world feels too loud,
and your heart grows heavy with unsaid words,
come find me,
I will listen.

Bring me your rants,
your tangled thoughts,
your quiet fears,
your loud frustrations —
I promise to hold them gently, bestie.

You don’t have to be strong here,
You don’t have to explain everything.
You can simply be —
tired, messy, emotional, real.
Let me be your pause,
your soft landing.your place to breathe easy again.

Just as you are always there for me,
I am always here for you,  —
today,
tomorrow,
and on all the days
when life feels heavy.

Where Did the Child Go?

As a child, I cried and laughed without asking permission,
whenever my heart felt too full, wherever my feet happened to stand.
Moments were homes—I lived inside them freely,
no yesterday pulling me back, no tomorrow rushing me ahead.
Now I’ve grown, and I float in between—
not fully in the past, not safely in the future,
wondering quietly… where am I?
Back then, the world had no labels ready for me.
I was not good or bad, not beautiful or ugly,
not kind enough or too much—
I was simply me.
Now names cling to my skin like shadows,
judging, measuring, defining every breath I take,
and I wonder when being human became a performance.
So tell me—am I meant to let go or hold on tight?
Am I allowed to cry, or must I always smile?
Somewhere inside, the child still waits for an answer,
barefoot, honest, unafraid—
hoping the adult remembers
that feeling deeply was never a flaw.

Cosmic Dance

In the infinite expanse of existence, three seemingly disparate threads converge: Sushant Singh Rajput, the actor who danced his way into my heart; quantum physics, the realm of probabilities and entangled particles; and Lord Shiva, the cosmic dancer who embodies the rhythm of creation and destruction.

Consider Sushant's fleeting journey, a poignant reminder of the impermanence of life. His dance, a mesmerizing whirlwind of energy and emotion, echoes the quantum principle of wave-particle duality – a reminder that reality is a delicate balance of opposing forces.

Meanwhile, Schrödinger's cat, suspended between life and death, reflects the uncertainty principle that governs our universe. Is Sushant's spirit trapped in a superposition, waiting to be observed?

Enter Lord Shiva, the Nataraja, whose cosmic dance weaves the fabric of reality. His tandava, a wild, ecstatic dance, symbolizes the eternal cycle of creation and destruction – a reminder that every ending marks a new beginning.

As we ponder the mysteries of existence, we realize that Sushant, Schrödinger, and Shiva are not separate entities, but facets of the same cosmic truth. We are all entangled, interconnected, and part of the grand quantum dance.

In this cosmic waltz, we find the answer to the question: What lies beyond the veil of reality? The answer whispers: "You are the dance, the dancer, and the dance itself."

Merging with the eternal

 *Merging with the Eternal Now*

As the tides of existence ebb and flow, the longing to transcend the confines of the self intensifies. To shed the skin of identity, to slip into the shadows of anonymity, and to become one with the ever-unfolding present.

In this timeless realm, the constructs of past and future lose their grip. The mind's relentless machinations cease, and the heart's turbulent waves subside. The boundaries of the self dissolve, and the distinctions between subject and object, self and other, dissolve into the seamless expanse of the Eternal Now.

You are no longer a discrete entity, bound by the limitations of space and time. You are the thread that weaves the tapestry of existence, the melody that harmonizes the symphony of the universe.

The urge to flee, to escape the burdens of individuality, is revealed as a longing for the sacred union with the All. The desire to become invisible, to blend into the landscape of nature, is a yearning for the profound simplicity of being.

Here, in this realm of pure presence, there is no house, no address, no name. There is only the radiant, unfiltered essence of existence, pulsing with the heartbeat of the cosmos.

In this profound surrender, you discover that you are not a part of the universe; you are the universe, expressing itself in all its beauty, complexity, and simplicity. The conundrum of identity, the puzzle of purpose, and the quest for meaning – all are resolved in the eternal, all-encompassing Now.

A Love letter to Bangalore

 *A Love Letter to Bangalore*

Bangalore, the city that taught me to love unconditionally, to embrace imperfections, and to keep moving forward. Our relationship hasn't been easy, but it's been real. You've shown me the beauty in chaos, the charm in traffic, and the warmth in strangers' smiles.

I've grown to appreciate your quirks – the early morning honks, the foodie paradises, and the unpredictable weather.  You are my home, my haven, and my inspiration.

Like any relationship, we've had our ups and downs. There were days when I'd curse your traffic, your pollution, and your crowds. But with time, I've learned to see beyond the flaws. I've seen the resilience of your people, the innovation of your startups, and the vibrancy of your culture.

Bangalore, you've matured me. You've taught me to love without conditions, to adapt to change, and to find beauty in the unlikeliest places. I'm grateful for the lessons, the memories, and the love we've shared.

Here's to many more adventures together!

Bangalore My Turbulent Love

 *Bangalore, My Turbulent Love*

Bangalore, you've been a whirlwind in my life – chaotic, messy, and utterly captivating. Your traffic jams and crowded streets, your pollution and your noise – it's all part of the package, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

You've taught me to love without conditions, to find beauty in the unexpected, and to thrive in the midst of chaos. Your imperfections are what make you so uniquely beautiful, so lovably human.

I've grown to cherish our daily struggles – the early morning alarms, the frantic rush, and the quiet moments of reflection. You've shown me that love isn't about perfection; it's about embracing the messiness, the quirks, and the flaws.

Your ability to surprise me, to challenge me, and to inspire me is what makes me fall in love with you more and more. You're a city that's always evolving, always growing, and always pushing me to do the same.

Thank you, Bangalore, for teaching me the true meaning of love – imperfect, unconditional, and unwavering. I promise to love you, flaws and all, today and every day.

The Journey Within

 *The Journey Within*

In the stillness of the night, when the world outside grows quiet, and the noise of distractions fades away, there's a whisper that calls us to turn inward. It's a gentle nudge to embark on a journey of self-discovery, to explore the uncharted territories of our own hearts and minds.

As we venture deeper within, we begin to uncover the hidden landscapes of our souls – the dreams we've buried, the fears we've hidden, and the desires we've suppressed. We confront the shadows that have followed us, and we meet the parts of ourselves we've long forgotten.

In this sacred space, we find the whispers of our intuition, the beat of our true hearts, and the rhythm of our souls. We discover the threads that weave our stories, the passions that fuel our lives, and the purpose that gives our existence meaning.

*The Questions We Ask*

Who am I, beyond the masks I wear?
What do I truly desire, beyond the wants I've been told?
What are the wounds I've carried, and how can I heal them?
What are the gifts I've been given, and how can I share them?

As we ask these questions, the answers begin to emerge from the depths of our being. We start to see ourselves in a new light, to understand our motivations, and to recognize our potential.

*The Gift of Self-Discovery*

In this journey within, we find the keys to unlock our true selves. We discover the courage to be authentic, the strength to be vulnerable, and the wisdom to be compassionate.

We realize that we are not just fragments of our experiences, but the sum of our choices, our values, and our intentions. We understand that we are not alone, but connected to the world around us, and to the universe within us.

What do you discover when you look within

Nandini Mithun ✍️

Being Left Out

Being left out in groups, kept at bay from secrets, and excluded from the inner circles can be a catalyst for introspection. It's in these moments of solitude that we're forced to confront our own depths, to navigate the uncharted territories of our soul.

The sting of exclusion can be a blessing in disguise, propelling us inward, towards a journey of self-discovery. As we peel away the layers of external validation, we uncover the raw, unfiltered essence of our being.

In the silence of solitude, we confront our shadows, our fears, and our desires. We begin to question the narratives that have shaped our lives, to challenge the conditioning that has defined us. We start to see that the external world, with all its noise and distractions, has been masking the profound beauty of our inner landscape.

This journey inward is not for the faint of heart. It's a path of unflinching honesty, of brutal self-awareness. But it's in this darkness that we discover the spark of our true nature, the ember that glows with an unshakeable light.

As we surrender to the solitude, we begin to see that exclusion is not a curse, but a gift. It's an opportunity to shed the skin of external expectations, to embrace the freedom of being unknown, unjudged, and unlabelled.

In this sacred space, we're free to explore, to question, and to seek. We're free to discover the depths of our own strength, the resilience of our own heart. We're free to awaken to the truth that we've been searching for all along – the truth that lies within.

So let the solitude be our guide, our teacher, and our friend. Let the exclusion be the catalyst for our journey inward. For it's in the depths of our own soul that we'll discover the light that shines brighter than any external validation.

The little things that touch my heart

*"The Little Things That Touch My Heart"*

"As a playschool teacher, I have the privilege of witnessing innocence unfold. Each day is a new canvas painted with laughter, curiosity, and tiny footsteps. I cherish the moments they trust me with their thoughts, their giggles, and their tears.

Their little hands, so delicate yet so strong, hold mine with such trust.... Their spontaneous "I love you's" and surprise hugs melt my heart, making my day brighter.

They're not just my students; they're a part of my heart, a beat that pulses with love and joy. In their growth, I find my own. Being their teacher isn't just a role; it's where my heart finds its home."

Its okay to be not okay

It's okay to not be okay. It's okay to stumble. It's okay to ask for help. You don't have to put on a brave face or pretend everything's fine when it's not.

Your feelings are valid. Your emotions matter. Your mental health is important.

Take care of yourself. Prioritize your well-being. You are worthy of love, care, and compassion – from yourself and others.

Let's break the silence. Let's talk. Let's listen. Let's support each other.

You are not alone. You are seen. You are heard. You are enough."

In a world

"In a world that often shouts strength, let's whisper kindness. Let's be the gentle touch that soothes unseen wounds, the calm in every storm, and the safe haven where hearts can find refuge. Every stranger's smile hides a story of struggle, every laugh conceals a tear, and every triumph is born of trials. Let's choose compassion over judgment, empathy over indifference, and love over fear. For in the end, it's not the strongest that survive, but those who can hold space for others' brokenness, and still love with a heart that remains unbroken."

Shiva

"Lord Shiva, your enchanting form captivates me, your piercing eyes see right through to my soul. Your gentle smile calms my heart, and your presence brings peace to my being. I yearn to be consumed by your love, to be washed away in the ocean of your devotion. Let your divine essence permeate every fiber of my being, transforming me into a vessel of your love. May I be lost in the depths of your compassion, finding solace in your embrace.

let your love be my everything."

Bangalore Auto Ride

A Bangalore auto ride is like signing up for a theme park adventure you didn’t know you needed. The driver? He’s a multi-tasking marvel — one hand on the handle, one hand on the phone, and both eyes focused… well, somewhere! Meanwhile, you’re holding on for the dear life as the auto swerves, screeches, and bounces like a runaway rollercoaster. The horn blares, the phone conversation goes on with maga and Macha and somehow, through the chaos, you’re grinning. Because where else can you get adrenaline rush, comedy, and a crash course in ‘trusting the universe’ — All for the price of an auto fare....

Have you taken the thrill ride yet

Bangalore

**“Bangalore doesn’t win your heart with perfection — it sneaks in through its imperfections. It’s in the honking symphony, the ‘swalpa adjust maadis’ exchanged like a quiet prayer, the auto rides that jolt you like a theme park, yet somehow land you right where you belong.

It’s in the countless cups of filter coffee shared with friends as raindrops race down the windows, in the tangled wires and bustling markets that hum a language only this city knows.

Here, amid the broken footpaths, unsaved roads and blooming gulmohars,  the traffic that tests your patience you learn to love. You learn that a place doesn’t have to be perfect to feel like home. You learn that beauty lives in the cracks and warmth, or shall say I potholes and speed brakers.

A city that speaks many languages, a city that is confused about its identity.

Bangalore embraces you, shakes you, reshapes you, until one day you realize — you don’t love it despite its flaws, you love it because of them. And that’s the magic of this city. It doesn’t just ask for your heart, it earns it…
