Often

 We often focus on the beauty of the sunset,

We don’t often talk about the depths of the night it sinks into right after.
We often focus on the happy things,
We don’t often talk about the unpleasantries.
We often portray the best of ourselves,
We don’t often talk of the demons we fight against on a daily basis.

We will fall;
We will rise.
We will be sad;
We will be happy.
We will fail;
We will succeed.
Like the sunset paired with the dark clouds,
That’s what life is all about.
